Agriculture and production

Wein- und Sektkelleri Jakob Gerhardt reduces energy costs by 23%

Jakob Gerhardt is one of Rheinhessen's most traditional wine and sparkling wine producers, boasting over 275 years of history and 75 hectares of its own vineyards. As a medium-sized company lacking its own energy expertise, the winery sought a partner to manage its entire energy supply – from purchasing green electricity and increasing self-consumption of solar PV power to controlling battery storage.

"Thanks to trawa, our energy supply has transformed from a risk factor into a predictable competitive advantage."
