Founder & CEO of trawa
We are very pleased to announce that we have received funding of 2.4 million euros from a fantastic team of investors.
2023 is not the easiest time in startup history, especially when looking for new investors. That’s why we are very proud that our investors are placing their trust in us and supporting us in our mission to help companies procure affordable and actually renewable electricity. Our funding round is led jointly by Speedinvest and Magnetic, and we couldn’t have asked for a better duo. TinyVC and The Delta, along with several highly experienced business angels have also participated, including Anna Alex, co-founder of Planetly and Outfittery, Julian Teicke, co-founder and CEO of wefox, Tobias Schütt, founder and former CEO of DZ4, Kai Klapdor (ENIT), and Alexandre Berriche, founder and CEO of Fleet - to name just a few.

An overview of some of our investors
The energy crisis of last year hit companies hard and proved that there is a need for more tailored electricity procurement solutions. We at trawa are convinced that the key to better solutions for companies lies in analyzing customer consumption behavior and combining it with the right electricity products. We will use the funds to further develop our AI-based software, which automates these tasks and enables us to serve customers who previously did not have access to electricity from wind and solar parks. Additionally, we are applying for a license as an energy supplier, which will allow us to serve our customers comprehensively.

A sample look at the solution: Our software analyzes a customer's load profile and recommends a customized electricity procurement mix.
We will also invest heavily in building a world-class team and currently have several open positions. If you want to be part of our team and help companies procure electricity from renewable sources, be sure to check out our job postings.
Thank you to everyone involved - we can’t wait to report here next time about the progress we will make in the coming months.
